This temple of Lord Shani  was built four years ago and is one of the most famous shrines of Ambala. It has an idol of Lord Shani sidesaddling  a buffalo, which,  according to Hindu scriptures, happens to be of the Lord. Shani Dev temple is full of devotees on all Saturdays of the year, and prayers of sorts are sung , as a matter of course,  in praise of Lord Shani.
