Born in an aristocratic family of the yore, Baba Lal Dayal was blessed with voluntary mortality. His father Bhola Ram was a reputed Kshatriya of Malwa region of Punjab while his mother Krishna Devi was a courteous lady with, a full-moonlike worship-worthiness as, an orb like firmness, lotus-like inviolability. A sage, who was invited at the christening ceremony of the child, prognosticated to the parents that their child was an extraordinary being endowed with divine abilities. One day, when the as a grown up lad, Dayal took refuge in Chaitanya Swami. Swami Chaitanya was mesmerized on looking at the child and asked the latter to always chant “Hari Om Tatsat Brahma Sachidananda“ and to always pay his obeisance to God. The Guru told his disciple that this world is a mere harbor and the latter must stay aloof from mundanely affairs. The Guru also told his disciple that the latter was predestined to be a Paramhansa Yogeeraaj. Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Mougal emperor Aurangzeb, had mentioned in his book named “Hasrat Ul” that Baba Dayal was a mystical giant and the former had never ever come across a mystic as high as influential, charismatic and imposing as the Baba.
